About 5 more months to US. Yay or nay? Actually I'm not too sure either. Spent almost the whole day (today) at gramps' talking to them, listening to their stories, dining. I really miss them. I miss those days when I stayed with them, whenever I'm under their care, I always have good food and proper dining habits (be it time of eating, dining e
tiquettes, etc). Today I spent almost half of the time in the kitchen with them, to keep them accompanied and at the same time see how they prepare their meals. I wasn't of any help in the kitchen though, I was just sitting at the side, talking to them and observing them. I felt that they have really grown older, a lot older. Especially my grandma, she's so scrawny now. When I see her walk from the fridge to the sink, her movements were so much slower (she used to be so fierce and strong). Bending down to grab the veg from the bottom rack now seemed to be such a difficult task for her, she have to hold on tightly to the fridge door to hold up her body. Grams told us her eyesight is getting from bad to worse, so she is going for some eye surgery. Thank God for those technology advancements, this eye surgery should be a smooth and easy one. Hope her surgery would be before my US trip, so I can be there for her, be it to see her or to ferry her around. May God bless my grampies, they are really angels to me<3
