If you know who am I, you should also know that I've been together with my boyfriend for about 5½ years. There are definitely ups and downs here and there. What's great about it is that we've got through them together. The experience, the sadness, I can say we really get to know each other in depth. However, before you even decide to stay in a long-term relationship, you need to find the right person. Oh wait, before you even find one, you need to have a right attitude!
What I’m gonna talk about may sound like common sense, but many a times when you’re enjoying, you will most likely forget about it. These are all my opinions about a right relationship, so if you don’t agree, that’s your problem!
1) It's not possible for you to flirt around and wait for the right one to come by!
Yes, there might be a chance for you to meet someone super nice, who will be willing to accept what you’ve done before! But what are the chances? Everyone out there wants a perfect someone too! Especially for guys, increasing number have said they are able to accept girls who sleeps around. Do you really think at the bottom of their hearts they are willing? If given a pure decent girl and a hot slut, most men will still pick that virgin purer girl to spend their ENTIRE LIFE with.
2) Always humble yourself
Humbling yourself sounds like some Christian preaching, but always remember no one likes cocky people. They may accept you at first, but they cannot survive with that cockiness forever! No matter how good looking you are, people will start hating you too!
3) Get to know many opposite sex friends, ask for opinions!
Always seek for help, analyze situation yourself. It’s your love life, you need not rush through it. Take it slow and easy, know more people, see what kind of girls/guys suit you better. Don’t ever ever jump into a relationship cause of infatuation. Get your mind and heart straight everytime. There is no best solution to relationship matters. So listen to different stories and craft your own fairytale.
4) Always keep in your mind: IT’S EVERYTHING OR NOTHING AT ALL.
Be super careful. When you want to start a relationship, it may be the best thing on earth. But if you were to break up, that friendship that is before the relationship might be forever gone. Most of the time, people who don’t survive the relationship don’t end up being friends with their partners again. So think it through. MAYBE, just MAYBE, friendship might be a better deal.
